Hi, there. I’m Lindsey.
My family calls me Linny Ree. I am a Holistic Movement Educator and Health & Wellness Coach who resides in a small town tucked away in the woods of Central Maine. To put it simply, I teach people to move their body mindfully through yoga, barre and fitness training classes, as well as collaborate with coaching clients to help them uncover their intrinsic motivation and empower them toward making change.
With a heavy influence from my two older brothers I, by default, have a passion for hip-hop and all things Boston sports. That paired with a strong spiritual and mindfulness practice, you’ll be sure to get an authentic experience from working with me, because let’s be real, we should never take these practices too seriously.
Since traveling to Kenya in April 2018 as a volunteer with the Africa Yoga Project, I discovered that I am deeply fueled by being of service and through this, founded Next Step Yoga; a volunteer-based program designed to support a sustainable recovery from substance abuse through a holistic blend of movement, meditation and breath-work. This experience has been a true gift.
I am driven to continue empowering and building community through movement and mind/body wellness, as I believe that empowerment can unlock our fullest potential. I am a firm believer that happiness is a do-it-yourself kind of thing, and strive to bring light, humor & inspiration to others through my work.
Keep it real, my friends.
Lindsey is a 200hr RYT, certified in Mat Pilates, Rasamaya barre method, Barre & Soul 100hr barre method, and is actively pursuing a certificate to be a Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches.
